Franklin Area Junior Women’s Club, Inc. (FAJWC) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 community service organization serving the communities of Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners and Oak Creek. Our group’s primary focus is on local projects. The club is affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) www.gfwc.org, a 100 year old institution committed to making all communities a better place to live.

FAJWC prides itself on community involvement and fund raising
events that have benefited our membership communities.

Some of these accomplishments include:

• Supplying five Pediatric Emergency Response Bags for the Paramedic units in Franklin and Oak Creek. Supporting state-wide GFWC efforts to equip all Milwaukee County owned Paramedic units.
• Providing $1000 in annual scholarships to high school seniors from Oak Creek, Franklin, Greendale and Whitnall High Schools
• Beautifying the Franklin Fire Department through the planting and maintaining of a Liberty Garden commemorating September 11th
• Redecorating 5 bedrooms, including painting and all new bedding, and donating Christmas presents to a Milwaukee Women’s Shelter

One of our main goals for the future is to support the GFWC state goal of equipping all Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) units in Wisconsin that respond to pediatric emergencies with Pediatric Emergency Response Bags; working first with Milwaukee County.
